Why move to Panama? Why Move to Panama.1) Panama ejoys a stable Government and its economic performance is proven to be greater than any other Latin American Country. The Government is also encouraging non-panamanians to move into Panama; to retire, invest and set up home. Thus immigration to Panama is far easier than many other countries with simular attractions. Govermnet incentives also offer considerable tax reductions for the deserning and offshore banking laws that protect your privacy greater than most other countries worldwide. 2)Panama has far more amenties for those use to Western life; with the influence of the American culture one can find leading stores found in the USA and familar restaurants in addition to the huge variety of latin American Boutiques and world cuisine. Tourism is on its way up and the city offers Business, entrtainment and social activites to match any other city with the one advantage of being only minutes away from the lush tropical vegetation and gorgeous beaches. Crime rates are lower than Costa Rica and Belize nad costs considerably lower. In fact Panama has been labelled the Costa Rica of 20 years ago, when it was first discovered as the ideal place to invest and retire. The cost of land, housing, food and entertainment are all still very low and waiting to be utilised by the discerning. Addto the low cost of living, residents pay no tax on income earned outside Panama. 3) Panama attracts foreigners from all over the world because of its diverse range of terrain from mountain ranges in the many National Parks to White sandy beaches and the erverexpanding metropolis life in the Miami style, sophisticated city. Vast jungles await exploration, full of birds, insects, flora and animals too many to mention.  The local saying is that in other countries you have 20 tourists looking at one bird but in Panama you have one tourist looking at twenty birds. The Soberia National Park just outside Panama city is reknown for occupying more birds than any other place world wide and is thus a great attraction for ornathologists. Panama boasts having both beaches on the Caribbean and Pacfic Oceans to be enjoyed by all; excellent surfing and diving opportunities, clear, unpolluted waters and white sandy beaches. Not forgetting that the sun shines 365 days of the year (most of the time!) and is always a pleasant temperature of at least 75 degrees or more. Panama is home to the eighth wonder of the world; the Panama canal. Ideal locations throughout the country in easy reach of sport fishing, golf, Spanish Colonial historical sites, snorkling, horseriding, hiking, oudoor activities that aren't reliant on the weather because here in Panama every day is a summers day.  4) A great attraction for foriegners considering Panama as their home is the life style. As costs soar around the world, British, European and Americans quickly notice how much further their money goes. An hours horseriding in El Valle will typically cost $7 whereas an hour in Britian would equate to around $60. This means that instantly one is able to afford more activites at lower costs. A bottle of coke will set you back 25 cents! and with cheap fuel, road tax, rent, food and no heating bills you can now spend your money on yourself and your family. Panama is a 100% tax haven:- No income tax, No capital gains tax, No sales tax, No capital shock tax, No property tax, No gift tax,No stamp tax, No inventory tax No tax on shareholders. 5)Healthcare is excellent with hospital doctors trained in USA ans speaking English. Water is safe to drink and sanitary conditions are also excellent; something not all Latin American countries can boast! Tourists coming to Panama are not required to have innoculations (if not travelling to Darien, Bocas de Torre or San Blas Islands) as there are no seriously considered health risks in coming to this country. 6)Panama is close to USA with direct flights from Ten major US cities to Tocumen airport just outside Panama city; Los Angeles, New York, Newark, Washington DC, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Fortlaudrdale, Atlanta and Orlando. So any trips to US are easily accessible and still paid in the us dollar. Travel up to Costa Rica in a day or pop over to one of the thousand islands offshore including the Carribbean! 7)From personal experience and comments from others that have set up home in Panama, concensus has it that noone would welcome a neighbopur more than a Panamanian. Most would choose to have a Panamanian neighbour due to them being one of the friendliest people in the world; known for their peaceful and getalong nature. Most in the interior regions of Panama can understand a little English and most int eh city speak English as their second language but if you want to learn Spanish in this county the Panamanians will surely help you all they can with a smile.
